Winnowing Sound of Spring Marshes

Wilson's Snipe are famous for there distinct winnowing sound made by their tail feathers often heard in marshy areas throughout the night during breeding season. While commonly heard during the night, they can be difficult to spot as they are known to hide in wetlands using their camouflage.
